Set sail with us and audition for Peter and the Starcatcher—a magical, imaginative journey filled with humor, heart, and nonstop theatrical fun. We’re seeking actors ready to embrace ensemble work, transform into multiple characters, and dive headfirst into a creative challenge. Adventure awaits!

All ages, races, and genders are encouraged to attend, as casting will be based on talent, imagination, and spirit alone.
Auditions will begin with a short actor workshop designed to explore chemistry, creativity, and playful collaboration, followed by brief readings from the script. Come ready to take risks, think on your feet, and let your creativity shine. Don’t miss this opportunity to be bold, inventive, and unforgettable.

Coming Home to Farmville: A Tribute to Roberta Flack
Join us for an intimate celebration of a legend. Before she was a global icon and four-time Grammy-winning superstar, Roberta Flack shared her gifts right here as a teacher in Farmville. This February, her story returns home.
Walker Entertainment, Farmville Community Arts Council, Emerge Art Gallery, and the African American Music Series present ‘Roberta.’ This is more than a concert—it is a multi-sensory experience. The concert features Glyra & The Rakeim Walker Project, a stellar lineup of artists, and special guests, we are bringing her timeless songbook to life through music and movement.

This production features local talent—your neighbors, former classmates, and friends—who grew up singing these songs, watching this story, and dreaming of performing it in their hometown.
Directed by Kevin Lee, this production is more than just a show—it’s a heartfelt tribute to community, nostalgia, and the enduring magic of live theater. With iconic music, electrifying dance numbers choreographed by our own Dance Unlimited’s Ashlie Smith, and a timeless story of friendship and first love, Grease demonstrates that you don’t need a big city to deliver a show-stopping performance.
